Iced Mocha Protein Donuts

Recipe Description

This delectable recipe is courtesy of our friends at Andrea's Protein Cakery. It's a donut recipe ideal for breakfast, one that's visually enticing, but also deliciously satisfying, especially with the coffee flavor of Bizzy Coffee.





Preparation Time 

  • 30-60 minutes


  • 12 mini donuts (serves 4)


  1. Preheat oven to 325F (163C).
  2. Start the donut batter by mixing the banana and cold brew.
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pipe or spoon into mini donut pan.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, just until firm (do not overbake!).
  6. Remove from oven, and let cool.
  7. Remove donuts from pan, and set aside.
  8. Mix whey and cold brew for icing.
  9. Dip each donut in the icing to cover the tops.
  10. Enjoy! Store leftovers in the refrigerator.


We suggest icing the donuts just before eating, or quickly storing them in a sealed container in the refrigerator. If left out, the icing on the donuts will dry to a plasticky texture (still delicious, though!). Because different types of protein powders bake very differently, we do recommend using anything other than whey protein in this recipe.
