ESPRESSO SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH YUMBUTTER

Recipe Description

Greet your mornings with this nutty bowl of chocolatey espresso goodness. The fats found in nuts, including oleic acid found in cashews, may help to lower LDL cholesterol levels and your risk for developing heart ­disease. Combined with the naturally energizing effects of cacao and cold brew coffee, this smoothie is a heart-­healthy way to begin the day.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Bizzy Organic Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate
  • 2 Bananas*
  • 1⁄4 cup Cashews
  • 6 Ice cubes
  • 4 tsp Cacao or unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp Espresso Yumbutter
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • Toppings: 1 Banana, 2 tbsp Cashews, sprinkle of Cacao powder, 1 tbsp Espresso Yumbutter

    *You may also use frozen bananas and omit the ice cubes if you prefer

  • 15 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

Place ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Smoothie should be super thick - ­­that’s a good thing! Pour and/or scoop smoothie into a bowl and add your toppings of choice. Enjoy!
